KATE Mellow Brown Eyes (ケイト メロウブラウンアイズ) suits anyone who wants natural brown eyes. It has three sheer browns (light, medium and deep) that KATE says blend into the skin without looking muddy, even when layered, plus a clear pearl for shine and dimension. KATE says layering them makes eyes look bigger in a natural way.

KATE’s four steps: with the wide end of the applicator, spread A over the upper and lower lids and layer B on top; with the narrow end, line the lash line with C; then pat D over the upper and lower lids with a finger to bring out shine and dimension.

KATE Popping Silhouette Shadow (ケイト ポッピングシルエットシャドウ) suits anyone who wants rounder-looking, more defined eyes: it uses the contrast between two opposite textures, muted matte and clear glitter, rather than colour, to create dimension. Colours A and B are moist, richly pigmented muted mattes; C is a fine, watery glitter and D a large glitter.

KATE’s two steps: with the applicator, spread A over the upper and lower lids and layer B on top; then, with a finger, add C to the inner and outer corners and D to the centre of the upper lid and the puffy area under the lower lashes. The shades are BE-1 Cinnamon Pop, BR-1 Greige Pop, OR-1 Apricot Pop, RD-1 Rosy Pop, MV-1 Mauve Pop, OR-2 Coral Rosé Pop and PK-1 Raspberry Rosé Pop, plus the limited EX-6 Tutu Pink Pop and EX-7 Tutu Lilac Pop. KATE Bouncy Cheek Shadow (ケイト バウンシーチークシャドウ), labelled “bouncy cheek & eyeshadow” on the case, suits anyone who wants one palette for eyes and cheeks: KATE treats the area from the eyes to the cheeks as the eye zone, to make eyes look bigger with both dimension and a natural flush. A and B are subtle matte shading colours, C is a bouncy highlight with a wet-look glow, and D is a bouncy flush colour.

KATE’s three steps, with a finger or your own brush: sweep A or B widely from the eyes to the cheeks, blend D from the outer corner of the upper lid to the cheek, then add C to the inner corners and the high points of the cheekbones.
