LuLuLun (ルルルン) is a Japanese sheet mask brand from Dr.LuLuLun Inc., built on the idea of applying your toner as a mask instead of patting it on. LuLuLun says its basic masks are lotion-type masks for efficient moisture, made to replace your daily toner rather than to be an occasional treat. Most daily series come in a 7-sheet pouch and a 28- or 32-sheet box.

Alongside the daily masks, LuLuLun makes richer serum and medicated masks for once or twice a week, an overnight eye sheet, a cleansing balm and toner pads. It also sells region-limited masks in stores across Japan, which you can’t buy on its online shop.

LuLuLun Hydra

LuLuLun Hydra is a series of 8 masks, each built around one key ingredient for one skin concern, from azelaic acid derivative (Hydra AZ, the lightest) to PDRN (Hydra PD) and 5-aminolevulinic acid (Hydra 5ALA), the most moisturising. These masks are richer or targeted, and LuLuLun suggests using most of them once or twice a week rather than every day. They come in smaller packs of 4 to 6 uses.

Medicated LuLuLun

Medicated LuLuLun (薬用ルルルン) is a pair of quasi-drug masks with approved active ingredients: Skin Conditioning & Moisturizing, with dipotassium glycyrrhizate for sensitive skin, and Acne Care & Whitening, which adds tranexamic acid and is made to help prevent acne, dark spots and freckles. LuLuLun ONE

LuLuLun One Night

LuLuLun One Night (ルルルンワンナイト) is a night-time intensive care mask in two types: Rescue Translucency (レスキュー透明感), to prevent dullness caused by dryness, and Rescue Moisture (レスキュー保湿). Each sheet holds 35 mL of serum, the most of any LuLuLun mask, compared with LuLuLun’s previous products, on a three-layer sheet, and LuLuLun suggests using the leftover serum on your hands, neck and décolletage. A pack of 5 individually wrapped sheets costs ¥1,375. LuLuLun’s US store lists them as One Night Sheet Mask PINK (Moisturizing Skin) and BLUE (Glowing Skin).

LuLuLun Hydra Eye Filler

Hydra Eye Filler is an oil-based under-eye sheet that you put on before bed and sleep in, once or twice a week, with retinyl palmitate and niacinamide among its key ingredients. LuLuLun Skincare Beyond Masks

Beyond face masks, LuLuLun makes the Cleansing Toning Balm, toner pads, Hydra F Soap and Hydra V Oil Serum.

LuLuLun’s Cleansing Toning Balm comes in four types for different skin concerns: CLEAR BLACK for blackheads and visible pores, HYDRATE WHITE for dryness and dullness, SMOOTH RED for dullness and roughness, and MILD BLUE for sensitive skin. LuLuLun also sells toner pads (ルルルン トナーパッド) in two types, うるおいON for moisture and ふきとりOFF for wiping, each ¥1,980 for 50 pads. LuLuLun suggests uses such as a moisture boost before makeup, wiping in place of a morning face wash and quick care for dry areas. If you are new to LuLuLun, start with a daily mask that matches your age and main concern, and add a special-care mask once or twice a week later if you want more. LuLuLun recommends Pure Everys or a Hydra mask for teens and people in their 20s and Precious from age 30, and OVER45 is made for skin from age 45.

How to Use a LuLuLun Face Mask

To use a LuLuLun daily mask, apply it after cleansing in place of toner, leave it on for 5 to 10 minutes, then seal in the moisture with a milk or cream. LuLuLun’s special-care masks have their own times; for example, its medicated masks stay on for 5 to 30 minutes depending on the type, and Hydra Eye Filler stays on overnight, so follow the guide for each one.

1. Wash your face. If you use a booster, apply it first.
2. Unfold the sheet and fit the eye and mouth holes to your face.
3. Press the sheet to push out any air, and smooth it over your whole face with your palms.
4. Leave it on for about 5 to 10 minutes.
5. Take it off, fold it and wipe your face with it, then pat in the essence.
6. Finish with a milk or cream.

LuLuLun says not to reuse a sheet once you have used it, for hygiene reasons. If you have sensitive skin or are using LuLuLun for the first time, LuLuLun recommends testing it on the inside of your arm first and checking the next day for redness or itching.

Travel LuLuLun: Region-Limited Masks

Travel LuLuLun (旅するルルルン) is a series of region-limited masks made with local ingredients and scents from areas across Japan, such as Hokkaido, Kyoto, Osaka and Okinawa. LuLuLun says these region-limited products aren’t sold on its online shop except at special events, and are sold in stores in each region. The newest are Hyogo LuLuLun (Tamba chestnut Mont Blanc scent, released September 2026), and Aichi LuLuLun (freshly made ogura toast scent) and Yokohama LuLuLun (coffee scent), both released August 2026.

LuLuLun also sells store-limited masks in Japan, such as Premium LuLuLun Fig at PLAZA (¥1,650) and the LuLuLun Repair Mask at AEON, Tsuruha and Welcia (7 sheets, ¥770).
