Cinnamoroll had a quieter September than Hello Kitty or Pompompurin, but a very specific one. Three brands worked with him for the first time, and almost all of it landed in the same corner of the store: hair care, body care and loungewear. If you like Japanese beauty products, this was the month to pay attention.
This guide lists every Japan-exclusive Cinnamoroll release announced by Sanrio for September 2026, with the release date, where it’s sold and the prices the brands published. At the end, we explain how to get them if you live outside Japan.
Cinnamoroll Goods, Direct From Japan
kachicollect only carries products made for the Japanese market. No proxy fees, and duties are shown before you pay.
Shop on kachicollectWhy These Cinnamoroll Collabs Never Reach Sanrio Stores Abroad
Nearly everything here is a licensed product. Sanrio licenses Cinnamoroll to a Japanese company, that company manufactures the goods and sells them through its own channels. The collection belongs to Nature Lab, to SNIDEL HOME or to Nittoh Tea rather than to Sanrio, so it never enters the catalog that Sanrio’s regional stores draw from.
Sanrio’s own online stores are split by region and each ships only within its own area. The one store that ships from Japan to other countries carries a much smaller catalog and doesn’t stock retailer collaborations. For the wider picture, see our guide to Japan-exclusive Sanrio merchandise, plus our roundups of Hello Kitty, Pompompurin and Kuromi releases from the same month.
Beauty collaborations add a second limit. Limited packaging is usually a single production run tied to one retailer, so once the run is gone the product goes back to its normal design, and the Japanese online stores that carry it deliver within Japan only.

Diane Botanical × Cinnamoroll

Diane Botanical is a Japanese body care line from Nature Lab, and this is its first Cinnamoroll collaboration, with Cinnamoroll and his friend Milk on limited packaging. The range is three 500 ml products: body milk in honey orange at ¥1,097, body milk in citrus and white bouquet at ¥1,097, and a citrus soap body wash at ¥770. It went on sale on 1 September, with a prize campaign running on proof of purchase until the end of October.
ELASTINE × Cinnamoroll Hair Care Set

ELASTINE is a Korean hair care brand, and its first Cinnamoroll collaboration is a limited-quantity pair set of the Protein Repair 10000+ shampoo and treatment, 500 ml each, in Cinnamoroll packaging. The set is ¥2,178 and is aimed at repairing damaged hair. It’s sold at Don Quijote stores across Japan rather than at drugstores, which is what makes it hard to find abroad.
SNIDEL HOME × Cinnamoroll

SNIDEL HOME makes loungewear with cosmetic ingredients woven into the fabric, and this is its first Cinnamoroll collaboration, themed on a starry night sky in pale, feminine colours with stones, ribbons and frills. The collection runs to 11 pieces: a hair turban at ¥5,720, a knit pullover and a blanket at ¥9,680, knit shorts at ¥7,920, a button cardigan at ¥11,880, satin long pants and a lamé sweat pullover at ¥10,780, a lamé mini tee at ¥7,480, a velour scrunchie at ¥4,950, a velour bag at ¥7,150 and a plush charm at ¥6,380. It launched on 11 September at SNIDEL HOME stores and the brand’s Japanese online store.
Don Quijote Cinnamoroll Streetwear

Don Quijote’s subculture-leaning Sanrio line is exclusive to its stores, and the September drop came in a Cinnamoroll version alongside the Kuromi one. Each character gets seven pieces in two colourways: a layered-look long sleeve tee with chain and a shoulder-zip sweatshirt at ¥4,399, a logo long sleeve tee at ¥3,299, cargo pants at ¥4,399, a track jacket and an eared full-zip hoodie at ¥5,499, and shorts at ¥3,299. Every piece comes with an original hanger, and the rollout began on 12 September. We covered the Kuromi half in our Kuromi roundup.
DOLLY MIX × Sanrio Characters

DOLLY MIX is an illustration brand from the artist Natsume Miku and Movic, and this collaboration features Cinnamoroll alongside Pompompurin and Pochacco. It opened on 18 September as an early release at 17 Kiddy Land stores across Japan, ahead of a wider launch, with a hologram sticker given for every ¥3,300 spent on the range. Prices weren’t published in the announcement.
Poppin Cider Capitoy (random)

This is a 500 ml blue lemonade soda with a figure attached, released on 18 September and sold only at Don Quijote group stores. The figures show Sanrio characters relaxing at a public bath, with six designs including Cinnamoroll, drawn at random. Quantities are limited, and we covered the same release in our Pompompurin roundup.
Happy Kuji PUNKS Party Halloween 2026 (random)

Happy Kuji is a lottery where every ticket wins a prize, and the Halloween 2026 edition dresses ten Sanrio characters, Cinnamoroll included, in punk rock outfits in black. Prizes include metallic-painted figures and chain pouches, and a ticket costs ¥880. The rollout began on 18 September at Lawson, FamilyMart, bookstores and hobby shops across Japan, and you can’t choose your prize.
minimal × Sanrio Characters Kids

minimal is a Japanese children’s clothing brand, and this collaboration takes a preppy direction across three characters: Hello Kitty, Cinnamoroll and Kuromi. The layered sweatshirt is ¥3,960, the sparkle hoodie is ¥4,400, both in sizes 110 to 140 cm, and the leg covers are ¥1,980 in one size. It went on sale on 19 September at minimal stores across Japan and on Narumiya Online.
cohare Cinnamoroll Cordless Hair Iron

cohare is Morimoto Sangyo’s own beauty appliance brand, and this cordless hair iron comes in three Sanrio designs, one of them Cinnamoroll, at ¥6,028 each. It has three heat settings at 140, 160 and 180 degrees, a heat-resistant silicone cap so you can put it away straight after use, and a removable battery, which means it can go in carry-on luggage. It’s a mini size built for travel, and it went on sale in September.
Nittoh Tea Cinnamoroll Milk Tea

This is the cheapest and most shippable item on the list. Nittoh Tea put two Sanrio designs on its instant powder stick drinks, and the Cinnamoroll one is a milk tea flavoured after the cinnamon rolls served at Café Cinnamon, with butter and cinnamon in the aroma. A box of eight sticks is ¥388, with a Pochacco banana au lait as the other design. Both are on sale at supermarkets across Japan and on Nittoh Tea’s own TeaMart online shop.

Shop on kachicollectHow to Buy Japan-Exclusive Cinnamoroll Goods From Outside Japan
Order From the kachicollect Catalog
kachicollect is a Japan-based shop that only carries products made for the Japanese market, so the easiest place to start is the catalog itself. It’s especially close to what Cinnamoroll’s September looked like: Japanese beauty staples such as Hada Labo, Melano CC and CANMAKE, Japanese tea from ITO EN and Ujinotsuyu, and Japan-only Sanrio items including the Hello Kitty charms and stickers sold through Yamato Transport’s Japanese shop.
You pay the listed price plus shipping, with no proxy fees, and the total including duties is shown at checkout before you pay. Payment is in your local currency by Visa, Mastercard or JCB, so you don’t need a Japanese address or card, and orders ship worldwide with tracking in about 7 to 14 days.
Request Anything That Isn’t in the Catalog
Most of the September releases above are tied to one Japanese chain or one brand’s own store, so they won’t be in the catalog. If you want one of them, send us the product link from a Japanese marketplace and you’ll get an instant quote, then buy it directly on kachicollect with no service fees. The same applies to anything else you find, including listings on Mercari and Yahoo! Auctions.
eBay
Japan-exclusive Cinnamoroll items show up on eBay soon after release, usually at a reseller markup that grows with how fast the item sold out. Limited beauty packaging is a common target because the run is short, and counterfeit Sanrio goods are common enough that listing photos alone aren’t proof. Check the seller’s feedback and ask for photos of the actual item, its packaging and any seals.
Amazon
Amazon is the other default, but limited-run chain collaborations rarely reach it. What you find is usually listed by third-party sellers rather than the brand, which means a markup and no guarantee the item is genuine. Stock also disappears quickly once the Japanese release sells out.
Tips Before You Buy
Limited packaging is a single run. The Diane Botanical and ELASTINE designs go back to standard packaging once the collaboration stock is gone, so there’s no restock to wait for.
Check what can be shipped. Liquids like body wash and shampoo are fine by international mail from Japan, but aerosols and sprays can’t be sent at all, so check before you request a quote on a beauty item.
Two items are random. The Poppin Cider figure and the Happy Kuji prize are both blind. If you want the Cinnamoroll design specifically, buying it individually second-hand is more reliable.
Check the sizing. The Don Quijote streetwear is cut to Japanese sizes, and the minimal collaboration is children’s sizing from 110 to 140 cm.
Remember that Japanese online stores stay in Japan. SNIDEL HOME, Nittoh Tea’s TeaMart and the other shops on this list deliver within Japan only.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why were so many Cinnamoroll collabs beauty products this month?
Cinnamoroll is a common choice for Japanese hair and body care brands, and September 2026 brought three first-time collaborations at once, from Diane Botanical, ELASTINE and SNIDEL HOME. It’s a pattern rather than a coincidence.
Can I buy Don Quijote Cinnamoroll items from outside Japan?
Not from the chain itself, since Don Quijote sells these in its Japanese stores. You can still get them by sending us the product link on kachicollect.
Why aren’t these on the Sanrio global store?
They’re licensed products made by Japanese companies for their own stores, so they don’t enter the catalog that Sanrio’s regional online stores sell from. Sanrio’s stores outside Japan carry their own separate ranges.
What is Café Cinnamon?
Café Cinnamon is the café in Cinnamoroll’s story where he lives, and its cinnamon rolls are the reference behind the Nittoh Tea milk tea flavour released this month.
Conclusion
September 2026 gave Cinnamoroll a clear theme. Two hair care brands, a body care line and a loungewear label all worked with him for the first time, a discount chain put him on streetwear, and a tea maker built a flavour around his café. All of it sells through Japanese stores that ship within Japan.
The simplest way in is the kachicollect catalog. It already carries a wide range of Japan-only products, Japanese beauty and tea included, so you can browse and pick rather than hunt, and anything that isn’t listed can be requested with a link. You pay the item price plus shipping with no proxy fees, see the total including duties before checkout, and first-time customers can use the code WELCOME20 for 20% off.
