Born in 1994 after developers were inspired by the cool feel of konnyaku sashimi. It sold about 5.5 million units in its first year, four times the target, and Kobayashi now sells roughly 400 million sheets a year worldwide. The brand marked its 25th anniversary in 2019.
How to use
Peel off the clear film and press the sheet onto the forehead or the area you want to cool. Keeping the box in the refrigerator (never the freezer) makes it feel even cooler. Use one sheet once only, and use the pouch soon after opening.
Cautions
Do not apply to wounds, burns or other damaged skin. One sheet is for a single use for hygiene and performance. Store in a cool, dark place and use promptly after opening. Contains parabens and colorants. Children below upper elementary age may find the menthol too strong.
